The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Fighters Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a gripping narrative featuring divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences growing in power within the city.

Note: Key plot points for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to undertake their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

Hence, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.

What Defines the Combat Party

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who enjoy a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might appear out of place, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading the secret base, striking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his obligations and escaped to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each member has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in the influential clan could enable the party reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the rulers that govern the city for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and The character are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This results in them little choice but to head to the remote area in search of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we discover that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight players to form the Questers and Schemers parties.

Fans can expect learning which adventurers will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
